Drama In Arts Week-Can You Identify These Sculptures?

                                  The Flying Fox
Getting ready to put my harness on I’m feeling nervous but I know I can do it. I’ve got it on. Now it’s time to go up. I’m walking up feeling nervous but excited. I’m at the top of the hill. A man was ready to hook me on to the flying fox.
Hooked on, ready to go. I walked to the second step in the wooden box. Everyone was cheering me on. I was as scared as a bird in a house. I backed out. Someone else went before me to make me feel more comfortable. After two more people it was my go.
I put my strap on and went to the second step. 1 2 3, I was worried, 4, 5. I jumped, was I going to die. Suddenly, bang. I hit the ground on the other side.  I had made it.
But wait, I’m only half way there. I’ve got to get back.  I know what’s going to happen.

Flying fox
‘Can I do it, I think so’. I was thinking while I was walking up the hill. Finally I got there with my heart pounding very fast. My harness got clicked on to the rope. I took one step on the step then I was in the air. My heart was POUNDING more than the fastest drummer in the world. I felt like screaming but I didn’t want to. I got to the other side. I was relieved to touch the ground. Oh no!! Another one. I walked slowly to the other flying fox. I get clipped on and away I go. The instructor said to run in the air when you almost land. I did that but when my left foot touched the gravel, ‘swish CRASH’!! My left foot slipped and it was bleeding. It hurt really badly. I got two plasters one my knees and I was alright after five minutes. Even though it hurt it was fun in the air. I would so go back there if I could. It was the best flying fox EVER!!!
