MULTIPLICATION MADNESS

Term Two Mathematics is focused on multiplication strategies and the knowledge to support these.
Please make sure you are completing your daily activities in your tables folder for a test at the end of the week.

If you already know all your tables make use of the many links on this blog to maintain your fast recall and accuracy.

Remember to use RAINFOREST MATHS that is available through Mathletics.
Many of the strategies we have been learning can be practised on this site AND at several levels.

BIOGRAPHY RESEARCH WEEK 6

Room One has been learning to write information reports on a range of topics. We are now going on to look at the features and information of a biography. As part of this process a question sheet has been included as part of  home learning activities. This sheet is to collect background information on a family member of choice.
A biography on this person will be then written in class.

READING EGGS NOW AVAILABLE

Room One now has the opportunity to sign up to' Reading Eggs' for the low cost of $15. This covers membership until February 2013 and is at a considerable discount.
It would be amazing to see all of the class joining up, we are almost halfway there already!
Previous points earned during the trial earlier in the year will be re-instated by Reading Eggs upon joining.
